Project: Canadians in World War 2

My project is about the Canadian involement in World War 2 and the sacrifices that were made by Canadian soldiers.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing that I learned about my topic was that if Canadians did not go to war we would not have the freedoms we have today.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

The important lessons I learned while doing my research on Canadians in World War 2 is that it is important to protect our freedom. I learned that many people sacrificed their lives so that we can have freedom in our daily lives. I leaned that war seperates families and kills innocent people.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I would compare my life today to the lives of those in World War 2 as today we live in peace and have freedom, and people in World War 2 lived with fear of possibly being killed in order to protect our freedom that we have today.
